Day 16

My nights are full of nightmares. Horrifying tales in which Constance is in a variety of emergencies, and I am unable to save her. In one she was being rushed away by flood waters. In another, she was being sucked up by a tornado funnel. My heart racing, I lurch awake and discover the dreadful truth. I am too late to save her.
