The food in Belize is delicious. I ordered the same Lebanese platter three times because the thought of missing out on eating it was unfathomable.

While walking through an open market I was introduced to a special kind of seed that if you eat it, it will heal your broken heart. It explains why the people of Belize are so happy. They pointed to a white pumpkin and said it was from that plant. I didn't tell them that pumpkins are the largest agricultural product of the state of Illinois. Instead, I bought and eat the roasted and salted seeds immediately. They were delicious. Presumably, the heart healing effects are time released.
