Day 171

This is a note I received via the Want My Baby Back blog’s contact form. It was sent to me on Constance's birthday. I found it moving.

“You don't know me but we have someone who loves you in common....Otis (Constance’s Service Dog).

I understand this is a difficult day but wanted to let you know that we talk about Constance to Otis even though we didn't know her.

We value your sacrifice and pain even though we've never met.

Because a dog makes a family, and we honor yours, today of all days.”
