Day 37

Is it a hate crime if I punch someone in the face for implying that God is responsible for killing my child? They say, “God doesn’t make mistakes,” or “God never gives you more than you can handle,” or “God just needed another little angel.”

Sometimes, I hear these things and think: It is interesting that illogical nonsense comforts you. Other times, I think: Keep your ignorant superstitions to yourself. Typically, I just stare at the person until they move on to the next mindless idiom.
